Meet the Coaches
Lewis Mosey — Founder & Head Coach (Calisthenics, Kettlebell strength, running, general strength and conditioning)
Lew brings a vast range of experience across training disciplines, with a particular reputation for his advanced calisthenics skill set; back lever, handstand push-ups, muscle-ups, and many more. As a runner, his achievements speak for themselves: notably a 2:50 marathon and a 107km leg in an ultra marathon relay, averaging a grade-adjusted pace of 4:34 per kilometre.
What makes Lew's approach distinct is that he doesn't use heart rate data in his own training. He's a firm believer in logic over data; applying intuitive feedback methods like RPE and respiratory rate, and trusting the body's signals over numbers on a screen. He's not anti-data, and he certainly recognises its value, particularly for those chasing elite performance, but also those who do simply prefer data over the other methods, but he's seen how it can become overwhelming and pull people away from what training is really about: getting fit while actually enjoying it. That belief is the foundation Traintuitive was built on.
Beyond the coaching, Lew is a highly qualified Business Analyst, holding several professional qualifications in the role alongside a qualification in leadership and management; evidence of the same structured, people-first thinking he brings to his coaching. He previously built and ran a self-development media company, scaling it to over 400,000 followers across platforms from scratch. He has since gone on to write life and training wisdom on X from things he has learned from a background of meditation, again reaching hundreds of thousands of people. The thread running through his experience is all the same, and that is clear thinking, honest communication, and a genuine interest in helping people to become better.

Adam Kinsey — Triathlon Coach
Like Lew, Adam has accumulated a remarkable range of endurance achievements across several disciplines. His running credentials include a 2:45 marathon and multiple ultra marathons of 80km and beyond, including a 210km ultra. In open water, he has completed a 10km swim. In triathlon, he has complete both half iron mans and full iron mans, with a half iron man time of 5 hours and a full iron man time of 12 hours.
That breadth of experience across swimming, cycling, and running at serious competitive standards, makes Adam exceptionally well placed to coach triathletes at any level, from first-timers to those chasing top 10 finishes.

George Johnson — Trail Running Coach
George's track record in trail and ultra running sits close to sub-elite standard. His standout results include the Mozart100 UTMB 45km trail race, consisting of over 5,000 feet of elevation, completed in 4 hours 4 minutes, earning him a top 20 finish in a major international trail event. He has also completed the Transgrancanaria 82km with over 14,000 feet of elevation in 10 hours 17 minutes, and the Grizedale Trail Marathon, with over 4000 feet of elevation in 4 hours 4 minutes, finishing 2nd place overall.
Important note, George operates independently of the Traintuitive app, working with his clients directly via TrainingPeaks. Clients who come to us for trail running coaching are referred to George, and pricing is agreed on an individual basis depending on the client's goals and requirements.

Brad Donoghue — Injury Rehab and Sports Performance Specialist
What sets Traintuitive apart from most coaching businesses is not just the coaches themselves, it is the wider team built around them. Central to that is Brad, a Sports Rehabilitation and Injury Management Specialist based in Manchester. Brad is not a bolt-on. He is embedded in how we operate. Brad works at the leading private clinic for musculoskeletal injury, rehabilitation, and physical performance in the whole of Manchester, and is now extending his vast skill set and experience to provision it online through the traintuitive coaching app and broader ecosystem.
Brad goes beyond getting people out of pain. His background in strength and conditioning shapes everything he does, rehabilitation that doesn't just restore function, but builds a more resilient, better-performing body in the process.

Brad works with athletes across all levels, and when a client flags pain, discomfort or a movement concern, they are not coached through it and hoped for the best, they are referred directly to Brad. He assesses, advises, and communicates with the relevant coach immediately so that the programme can be adjusted around what the body actually needs. For clients on our higher tiers, Brad is available on call, and reachable directly by message or phone when something arises, with the option to arrange a video or telephone consultation at short notice. The same quality of assessment he would provide in clinic, delivered remotely.
It is a level of specialist access that very few other coaching services offer, and it is one of the things we are most proud of.
